Mrs. Mary A Beard died at her home south of town Sunday morning from cancer of the stomach. She has been in poor health and a great sufferer for
some time but thru energy and determination she kept about and was in bed only a little over four weeks. Mrs. Beard was 62 years old and had lived in this vicinity for over 35 years. Mr. Beard died seven years ago. Three sons
survive her, Lee who lives in Okla., E. J. who lives near the home place and Jesse who lives on the borne place. All were present during her last sickness. The funeral was held Monday morning at the Christian church conducted by Rev.
J A Monkman.
