Anna Marie Davis
Anna Marie Johnson Davis, 101, a former longtime resident of Exline, died Monday, Aug. 27, 1984, in the Washington Care Center, Washington. She had been a resident there for the past seven years.
She was born in Sweden May 1, 1883. She was united in marriage to Lars Johnson on Aug. 23,1907, and he preceded her in death April 3, 1947. On Nov. 6, 1955, she married Rollie Davis in Exline he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1971.
She was amember of the First Lutheran Church, Centerville. Survivors include three children, Ted Johnson of Washington, Jeannette
(Mrs. John) Liley of Beloit, Wis.; and Virginia (Mrs. Marvin) Smith of Des Moines; four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Exline Cemetery,
Exline. The Rev. James Berka will officiate.
The Johnson-Lange Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is open. A memorial has been established in her name, and memorial gifts may be left at the funeral home.
