{Chloe} Ruth Walter
{Chloe} Ruth Walter, 86, of Exline died Tuesday, March 2, at Golden Age Care Center. She was born Oct. 30, 1901 in Exline to Columbus O. Johnson and Lena M. Gradwell. She married Virgil W. Walter in Centerville in April 17, 1920. She was a member of the Zoar Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil; children, Delbert of Crossett, Ark., Marvin of Centerville, and Carletta Campbell of Davenport, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and a sister, Goldy McKeeham.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Johnson-Lange Funeral Home with the Rev. Wally Kinzler officiating. Burial will be in Zoar Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 7-8 at the funeral home. A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home.
