POSTMASTER T. I. JOHNSON
PASSES AWAY AT EXLINE
AFTER LONG ILLNESS, OLD RESIDENT
OF CALDWELL TOWNSHIP IS DEAD.

Following a long illness with a complication of diseases, T. I. Johnson, aged 62, died at 8:00 o'clock last night at his home in Exline. Mr, Johnson was postmaster of Exline and he and his son were in the mercantile business.
Decedant came to Appanoose county in the fifties with his parents who settled in Caldwell township where he has resided since a small boy.
Mrs. Johnson died several years ago but surviving are two sons and two daughters all of whom were at the bedside when the end came. The children are Eurus Johnson, of the firm of Johnson & Son, Columbus Johnson,
Mrs. Gertie Sundeen and Mrs. Nina Johnson, all of whom reside at Exline.
Funeral services are to be held tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10:00 o'clock in charge of the Masonic order and interment will be made at
Exline cemetery.
