Johnson Funeral
Exline Saturday
Funeral services for the deceased C(olumbus) O. Johnson, 63, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Exline M. E. church with burial following in the Exline cemetery.
C. O. Johnson was born July 19, 1874, near Exline and was the son of Thomas and Rebecca Johnson, both of whom are deceased. He married Lena Gradwell in May, 1896, and has lived on the same farm, all of his married life. He leaves his wife, Lena, and three daughters: Mrs. Goldie McKeehan of Ottumwa, Mrs. Ruth Walters of
Exline, and Mrs. Mary Stevens of near Exline. Also surviving are six grandchildren and one brother, E. Johnson of Exline, two sisters: Mrs. Oscar Sundeen of Exline and Mrs. Mina Hudson of Rockford, ILL.
The Rev. J. E. Matheney of Cedar, Iowa, will officiate at the services.
