AXEL OLSON DIES
IN ROCKFORD, ILL.
SERVICES HERE
Following Rites in Illinois City
Services Will Be Held In This
City Saturday

Funeral services are held at 2 p.m. today at the Christensen funeral home in Rockford,
Illinois, for Axel Olson, former Centerville resident. Mr. Olson was 69 years of age and died following an illness of six weeks. He was born in Varmland, Sweden, March 26, 1867 and came to the United States in 1892.
He had been a resident of Rockford for the last 13 years, but prior to that time lived on South Fifteenth street in this city. In death he is survived by his wife Christina, one son Clarence, and one daughter, Mrs. Esther Forsythe of St. Louis, Missouri. Three sisters two brothers and two grandchildren also survive.
In additional to the services held at Rockford there will be services in this city Saturday afternoon at 3 p. m. from the Swedish Congregational Church. The body will accompanied to this city by the wife and son Clarence. Rev. Edwin Matson of Ogden, Iowa, will conduct the services.

Note: Axel buried at Oakland cemetery, Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Olson of Rockford are in this city attending the funeral services of Mr. Olson's father. Axel Olson.

Edith Loftgren of Rockford, ILL., is in this city visiting with relatives and friends over the weekend. She will also attend funeral services here for Axel Olson.
