Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the family home two and a half miles northwest of Exline occurred the death of Mrs. Ellen Daniels aged 53 years wife of John Daniels. The deceased has been a resident of Appanoose county for 27 years, is well known, and her death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The deceased is survived by a husband, John Daniels, two sons,James Henry, David M.{N.} and one daughter, Mrs. Emma Ellis.
The funeral services were conducted at the Christian church in Exline this morning at 11 o'clock by Reverend Shaffer.
