MOFFATT FUNERAL
HELD AT MORAVIA
Moravia — Funeral services were held from the Turner Funeral Home today at 2 P.M. for John Franklin Moffatt, 71, who died at 11 P. M. Wednesday at the Smith Hospital in Albia.
He was born in Monroe County on March 22, 1877, the son of Jacob and Mary Moffatt. He lived his entire life in the vicinity northeast of Iconium. On March 30, 1910. He married Miss Olive Stevens, who survives. Other survivors
are four children, Mrs. Edna Elliott of Mystic, Mrs. Mary Starcevich, Lovilia: Mrs. Daisy
Lucas, Albia; Raymond at home; four grandchildren, three sisters,
Mrs. John Bickford and Mrs. Charles Runnells of Moravia, Mrs. Jane Stevens. Albia; and
two brothers, William of Udell and Elmer Moffatt, whose address is unknown. He was preceded in death by one son, Raymond. Services were in charge of Rev. Waunita McConnell and burial was in the Iconium Cemetery.
