Dies Friday
Mrs. Anna McClaskey, life long and prominent resident of the Exline community, died Friday evening, Sept 21, at 6:30 p.m., at the St. Joseph Hospital. She was 78 years, seven months, and 20 days of age.
Mrs. McClaskey was born near Exline Feb. 1, 1878, the daughter of Mansfield and Isidore Hutchison Moore. She was married to Frank McClaskey on Sept 26, 1899, who survives along with five children, Rex McClaskey of Monrovia,
Calif.; Mrs. Guy Pugh, of Edinburg, Texas; Mrs. John Fox of Perry, Iowa; Mrs. Kendall
Monroe of Perry; and Eugene McClaskey of Des Moines. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Alice McConnell of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Exline Methodist Church, with Rev. S. H. Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Exline Cemetery. The body is at the Johnson Funeral Home.
