Harpers in Harper's Ferry

HARPER, COPPERNOLL, BUTLER, BRENNAN

I'm researching my gggrandfather, David Harper, after whom Harper's Ferry is named. I have a fair amount of information on him already, with lots of gaps. His wife was Harriet Butler of Ohio, whose brother Aretus Butler lived near her in 1870 after David died in 1869. Their daughter Ada Florence married a local lawyer, Peter Coppernoll. David apparently sailed to America on the same ship with a Brennan who also settled in Iowa. Any information would be appreciated.
