Article translation:

Burial instead of wedding. Lars Iversen and his wife, at Paint Creek, in Allamakee County, Iowa. They should some days ago have had their golden wedding anniversary. But two days before that day, suddenly the man died, and the day after, the wife died. The same day as they should have had the golden anniversary, the couple, who would have been the days honored guests, were put into their graves. --The Swedish American Western, Denver, Colo.
