Father/son fatal car crash on Hiway 13 on/about late Dec.

Dear Ms. "Information coordinator"
I was wondering if you could help me...I am looking for any information pertaining to a car accident on old highway 13 (in Fairview twnshp) around or about Dec. 1960 where a father & son were killed. As I recall, (I was only 6yo @ the time but I remember my father talking about it as itwas near the farm where he grew up) the father and son were "racing " in anorthbound direction (past the Harpers Ferry rd 364 turn off) when they both lost controlland went down a ditch and into the woods. (this was late @ night) Anyway, it was 2 or 3 days later when a local farmer (Roy McGeough) was driving his tractor near the spot when he stopped becuase he "smelled gasoline".. he subsequently found the vehicles with the dead victims inside the cars. Anyway, I would like to know if you might have any printed information of the accident "on file"... I cant seem to "turn up" any information. Im thinking that this all took place sometime around christmas/New years of Dec.60/Jan61. Thanks for any assistance that you might be able to provide..Sincerely, Jim McCormick
