The book is titled History of the Scott & Bryson Families and is by John Scott Bryson, my gg-grandfather. It was published in 1901 by James Bryson, brother of John. John gave copies of the book to his grandchildren, of which my grandfather was one. Those who possess an original copy today hold it dearly. I have a photocopy of the original.

The book covers three generations of the family, parents (including some info on their ancestors), their children, and their children's children, up to 1901. It also tells of all the families moves and their pioneer life.

The parents and their children each have their own chapters.

Of interest to you may be the chapter on John Q. and Margaret Scott (Bryson) Henderson. If you would like I will send you the chapter by email.
