Bryson history

I am the great-great-great Granddaughter of James Bryson and Margaret Scott Bryson. They were one of the first settlers of Allamakee county. Their son, Alexander, was my great-great grandfather. James' son, John Scott Bryson, wrote a book on the history of the Bryson-Scott family. Has anyone ever seen a copy of this book? There is a transcription of it on Ancestry.com, but I would have to pay for a membership to see it. I'm hoping there is a copy of the book somewhere.
