I have since read in the Biography of Hamilton County, that Barbara came to the US when she was 18 (born Dec 1832 so this would be 1851) and she was married in Dubuque to Christian Mundt. His name is spelled as Mount in the Allamakee Census of 1860. The marriage should be recorded in Dubuque.
