This message was updated August 27th:

I have a text book which belonged to Gertrude Hansmeier (labeled as 'Freshman 1918-1919') under her name is the name of 'Earl Stock'... I really loved this old text book for all the poems and jokes written in the margins. The textbook owner was Gertrude Hansmeier, born in 1905 and graduated from Waukon High School in 1922. She married Leo Colvin (son of Frank Colvin), had children, and is buried with her husband in Oakland cemetery, 1920 Addition, Lot 119.
If this message reaches any of her children -- or grandchildren, I would be happy to offer them Gertrude's textbook. The margins and blank pages were crammed with her own writing, notes and poems. I have attached a link to the scanned image of the inside cover.

The images are also posted on the Allamakee co. IAGenWeb site in the "School Records" section.
