Olaf Thor Engebretson

I am trying to find out information about Olaf Thor Engebretson, born in about 1857 and while living in Center in 1877 attacked a woman he had a romantic interest in after she spurned him. He spent a year in the county jail and afterwards was sent to Norway by his family. When he returned in 1880 he homesteaded in southwestern MN, marrying my great aunt in 1885. After a number of years of his barroom brawling and incarcerations, she left him and he seems to have eventually made his way back to Center and rumor has it attacked another woman and died while in jail in 1926. Any knowledge of him, his actions or thoughts of where to look for information would be appreciated. Thanks
