Schulte / Koenig family history

I am looking for any biographical data on August Schulte and Caroline Koenig. (Married 26 Oct 1869)Dorchester, Ia

August was born in Germany in 1841 and caroline in IL. about 1852. I don't know where in IL. but I think it was Galena. I believe they adopted his sisters children.
