Am trying to establish a connection between the Houlihan families in Allamakee Co and those in Houston Co. MN

Patrick Houlihan, a native of County Kerry, Ireland died Friday
evening May 11, 1898 at the home of his son Michael. He was 81 years
old. He came here in Sept 1865 from Decorah and settled on the farm
on which he died. Mr. Houlihan is survived by sons - Edward of
Wilmington Twp.; Thomas and Michael of Mayville. Funeral held Monday
morning at 10:00 o'clock from St.. Johns Church, Father O'Connell (?)
officiating.--

It is my understanding that at some point Patrick worked on the railroad and may have lived in McGregor, Iowa before moving to Houston Co.
