DOUGLAS J. WIEBKE

Douglas J. Wiebke, 70, of Dorchester, died Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center, LaCrosse, Wis.

He was born July 27, 1933 in Spring Grove, Minn., to Fremont and Henrietta (Doely) Wiebke. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Doug worked as an iron worker before his retirement.

He is survived by a son, Tim Link, of Caledonia; a daughter, Kim Davis of LaCrosse; three grandchildren; three brothers, Warren (Jean) Wiebke of Caledonia, David (Elaine) Wiebke of Spring Grove, and Gordon Wiebke; two sisters-in-law, Pat Wiebke and Gladys Wiebke, both of Caledonia; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Garnet, Delone, and Roger.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McCormick Funeral Home, 205 East Main, Caledonia. Burial with military honors will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia.
