KATHLEEN VIRGINIA HANSEN

Services were held Wednesday, June 12 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, for Kathleen V. Hansen who died June 10, 1974 at Community Memorial Hospital. Intern William Ketchie officiated.

The daughter of Arnold and Erma Heckman Hansen, Kathleen Virginia, was born November 6, 1946 at Exira, Iowa. She was baptized December 8, 1946 by the Rev. Theordore Haemann at the Immanuel Lutheran, Adair, Iowa. She was confirmed April 24, 1960 by the Rev. R. A. Nelson at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Anita, Iowa.

On April 7, 1974 she became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Kathleen was graduated from high school in 1964 at Anita and attended the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls for two years. She was employed by Trans World Airlines for four years and for the last year served as a private secretary for an advertising firm in California.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandfather and maternal grandfather. She is survived by her parents; a sister, Mrs. Dale (Karen) Green, Castalia; a brother, Raymond of Farley; three nieces; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Hansen of Shenandoah and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva Heckman of Exira.

Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.
