Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Lane A. Radloff were held Saturday, Aug. 9, 1980 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. The Rev. David R. Nelson officiated. Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.

Lane Allen Radloff, son of Harley and Belva (Brandt) Radloff, Jr., was born Oct. 12, 1957 at Postville, and baptized Dec. 1, 1957.

Rhonda Kayleen Radloff, daughter of Keith and Jenetta (Loftsgard) Brainard, was born Jan. 18, 1958 at Postville, and baptized Feb. 23, 1958.

They were both confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church April 29, 1973 and graduated from Postville Community Schools in 1976. Sept. 3, 1977 they were united in marriage at Postville. To this union a son, Derrick, was born. The couple farmed near Luana. They died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1980, as the result of a motorcycle-truck collision near Cromwell, Minn.

Surviving Lane are his son; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Radloff, Jr. of Postville; three brothers, Blake, who is stationed with the army in Germany; Nick and Darren, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Kedric (Jackie) Groth of Castalia; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Radloff, Sr. of Luana; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Brandt of Postville. He is preceded in death by his mother, Belva (Brandt) Radloff.

Rhonda is survived by her son; her father, Keith Brainard of Postville and two sisters Mrs. Mark (Marsha) Cooper of Red Wing, Minn.; and Kamie Brainard of Postville. She preceded in death by her mother, Jenetta (Loftsgard) Brainard.
