Edward Ruckheim

Funeral services for Edward Ruckheim were held January 11, 1985 at Niswonger-Reynolds Chapel, Bend, OR. A private committal service was held at Pilot Butte Cemetery.

Edward Ruckheim, son of Bernard and Cynthia (Stewart) Ruckheim, was born May 18, 1927 in Sparta, WI. He died Jan. 8 at his home at 705 NE Franklin Ave., Bend, OR.

He attended schools in Wisconsin including Multnomah School of the Bible and graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland. In June of 1947 he was married to Gloria Gass in Portland. She was a former Postville resident.

He was an agent for the internal revenue service and established NW Tax and Business Consultants, Inc. in 1965. Later he founded FA & B Enterprises. He was a member of the ORegon Pilots Assoc. and a charter pilot for Gibson Air Service of Bend. In earlier years he had a charter airline service in the West Indies. He was also a former member of the Bend Toatmasters Club.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria, a daughter Christy (Mrs. Tom Monroe and a son, Stephen, both of Bend, two grandchildren and his father, Bernard Ruckheim of Redmond.
