Dorchester, Ia. - Funeral services for Frank S. Zieman, Waterloo Township farmer, who died at the family home near here Sunday, after several weeks' illness, were held at St. Mary's Church, Dorchester, Wednesday morning. Requiem mass was celebrated by the Rev. Michael J. Brogan, pastor. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mr. Zieman was born in Germany on April 1, 1870, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Zieman. He came to the United States with his family when young, and about 43 years ago was married to Elizabeth Wensing.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Jerome, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Hansmeier, Waukkon, Ia., [Mrs.] Raymond Schultz, Dorchester and Mrs. Frank Howe, Makee Township; two brothers, William Zieman, Dubuque, Ia., and Louis Zieman, Mason City, Ia.; and a sister, Mrs. Thomas Walsh, St. Paul, Minn.
