Harpers Ferry, Ia. - Funeral services for Charles Hogan, 46, who died Saturday at St. Francis' Hospital, La Crosse, Wis., where he had been a patient since May, will be held from the family home, in Taylor Township, to St. Ann's church here, Tuesday morning. The Rev. John J. Costello, pastor, will celebrate the requiem mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Paint Rock. The Bahke and Hanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hogan was born in Taylor Township on Dec. 12, 1897, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hogan. He was educated in the rural schools, and on Mar. 1, 1938, was married to Miss Margaret Schulte.
He is survived by his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Eward Delphy, Harpers Ferry, Mrs. Frank Wagner, Lansing, Ia., and Mrs. Joseph Crowe, Dearborn, Mich.; and two brothers, John and Frank, both of Harpers Ferry.
