Postville Review, Friday, 9 February 1917.

Julius Olson was born near Christiana, Norway, February 1, 1838, and died at his home near Postville, Iowa, Tuesday, February 6, 1917, aged 79 years and 5 days, pneumonia being the cause of his death. Funeral services were from the Methodist church in Postville, Iowa. Interment in the Postville cemetery.
