Lester C. Heins

Lester C. Heins, 84, of LaCrosse, WI, died Wednesday, Dec. 26 at the Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse.

He was born at Postville, IA, July 22, 1906. His parents were Louis and Louise Meiske Heins.

He married Corrine Osgard in March, 1936, at Black Hammer, MN. He worked for the G. Heilman Brewing Co. for 24 years until his retirement.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 29, 1990 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, LaCrosse, WI. Burial was at the Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery. Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, LaCrosse, was in charge of arrangements.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Ronald, Liberty, MO; a twin sister, Mrs. Esther Eberling, Postville; a sister, Mrs. Lily Martens, Oelwein and a brother, Virgil, Oelwein.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Victor, Elmer and Louie and one sister, Ruby.
