Funeral services were held Sunday, June 14 at 2 p.m. for Ricky L. Stahl, age 34, of Lansing, Iowa. He died Thursday, June 11, 1987 in his Lansing Home. The Rev. Tom Mattson officiated at the services held at the United Methodist Church in Lansing, Iowa. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery with Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Ken Becker, Tom Lindsey, Tom Kerndt, Fred Rethwisch, Tim Stahl, Steve Honn, Perry Fahey, and Tim Ingles.

Ricky was born May 3, 1953 in Waukon, Iowa to Lester and Betty Jean (Ingles) Stahl, now of Postville, Iowa. He married Jayne Rethwisch on March 24, 1972.

He is survived by two sons, Ricky Lee and Jack, both at home; his parents; 2 brothers, Randy Stahl of Waterloo, Iowa and Brian Stahl of Postville, Iowa; a sister Brenda Houdek of Waukon, Iowa; and a grandmother, Vernie Stahl of Lansing, Iowa.
