Funeral services were held Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. for Jayne Stahl, age 32, of Lansing, Iowa. She died Thursday, June 11, 1987 in her home in Lansing, Iowa. The Rev. Tom Mattson officiated at the services held at the United Methodist Church in Lansing, Iowa. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery with Burke-Thornburg Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Ken Becker, Tom Lindsey, Tom Kerndt, Fred Rethwisch, Tim Stahl, Steve Honn, Perry Fahey, and Tim Ingles.

Jayne was born March 11, 1955 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Peter J. and Patricia (Wagner) Rethwisch of Lansing, Iowa. She married Ricky L. Stahl on March 24, 1972.

She is survived by two sons, Ricky Lee and Jack, both at home; her parents; 6 brothers, Gerald Rethwisch of Farmington, Minnesota; James Rethwisch of Fallbrook, California; David Rethwisch of Iowa City, Iowa, Daniel Rethwisch of Eagan, Minnesota, and Jay Rethwisch and Peter Rethwisch, both of Lansing, Iowa; 2 sisters, Judi Darling of New Albin, Iowa and Mari Rethwisch of Lansing, Iowa; and her grandmother, Fern Rethwisch, also of Lansing, Iowa.
