Frank W. Tuller, son of Dr. and Mrs. Worden Tuller, was born in Hardin, Allamakee county, Iowa, October 24, 1860, and passed on at his home in Postville, Tuesday morning, march 10, 1931, aged a few months more than 70 years.

He grew to young manhood in the home of his birth, where he assisted his parents in the conduct of their farm and received his education in the Hardin schools.

Following the death of his father, Mr. Tuller came to Postville and engaged in the business of buying livestock, which vocation he followed quite successfully for many years, until failing health occasioned his retirement some years ago.

On Christmas Day, December 25, 1888, he was united in marriage with Miss Eva J. Durno of Postville and this union was blessed with two children, Ralph Worden Tuller, now a resident of Des Moines, and Rive Marjory Tuller, who passed on in July, 1913.

He is survived by his wife and son and a grandson, Ralph Worden Tuller, Jr. of Des Moines, numerous other relatives and many friends.

He served this community faithfully for a number of years in official capacity as city marshal. During the earlier and active years of his life Mr. Tuller was known to us all as a genial and jovial gentleman, a devoted and indulgent husband and father, a good citizen, friend and neighbor, who was ever loyal to his home town and community; and thus it is that we prefer to remember him, rather than in the later years when the shadows of physical affliction drew nigh and shut out the sunshine that was in his soul.

Fraternally Mr. Tuller was affiliated with Brotherly Love Lodge No. 204, A.F. & A.M. of Postville.

The funeral was held from the Community Presbyterian church in Postville on last thursday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by the pastor, Rev. R.F. Galloway, and the Masonic fraternity, Bro. R.R. Douglass officiating for the local lodge. Interment was made in Postville cemetery.
