Leon Cota, 66, of Milwaukee, formerly of Harpers Ferry, died Sunday, April 23, 1995.
Leon was an employee of Babcock & Wilcox for 27 years, and Style Line for the last five years. He was a member of the H.A. Todd Post 537 American Legion and Krejci Braun Meier Post 7584 V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife Ruth (nee Zocher); a son, Bill (Carol) Cota; a daughter Debbie (Brian) Duerr; grandchildren, Kimberly, Andy , James, Nicole, Joey, Steve, Tracy, and Angela; three brothers, Jerry (Marian) Cota, Bob (Mary Lou) Cota and Rick (June) Cota; four sisters, Regina (Mel) Jones, Shirley (Jim) Scholle, Sr. Mary Lou and Sr. Mary Magdalen; his mother-in-law Grace Zocher, and also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Leon was preceded in death by a son Gary Griggs, and a sister, Rose (Leo) Foley.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthias Church, Entombment was was in St. Adalbut Cemetery.
