Services for Mrs. Clarence (Esther Stirn) Kelly were held on Wednesday, March 20, 1985 at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. Interment was in St. James Cemetery.
She passed away Saturday, March 16, at the Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, Wis. after a long illness.
Esther was born August 7, 1911, a daughter of George and Katherine (Wendler) Stirn. On May 26, 1937 she was united in marriage to Clarence L. Kelly of Harpers Ferry. They made their home in Hustler, Wisc. until the past two years, when Esther moved to Germantown, Wis. to live with her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Marcella Van Oh, and a brother Robert.
She is survived by three children, James of Arlington, Wis.; Donald of Green Bay, Wis., and Mrs. Richard (Calene) Ehrlich of Germantown, Wis. 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Karen, Kathleen and Chris Kelly, Craig, and Valerie Kelly, Angela, Todd, Kristine and Greg Lee. She is also survived by a step-grandson, Richard Ehrlich Jr., and two step-great-grandchildren, Jaime and Justin Ehrlich; a brother Donald of Bettendorf; and a sister, Mrs. William (Ruth) Rea of Lansing, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Jeffrey Kelly, Todd Lee, Richard Ehrlich Jr., and nephews Ronald, Greg and John Rea. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Craig Kelly and Greg Lee.
