Funeral services for Minnie Miller were held Thursday, March 31, 1983 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. The Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Minnie Miller, daughter of Charles and Minnie (Ollroth) Kohrs, was born December 3, 1887 at Postville, Iowa. She passed away March 28, 1983 at Palmer Memorial Hospital in West Union, Iowa.

She was baptized on February 23, 1888 and confirmed on March 31, 1901, both at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was an Honor Roll member of the Lutheran Church Women. She attended the Woodland School.

On December 15, 1908 she was married to Henry Miller. To this union three children were born. They farmed north of Postville.

She is preceded in death by her husband, who died November 17, 1959, a son in infancy, her parents, two brothers, Will Kohrs and John Kohrs and two sisters, Mrs. George (Anna) Sebastian and Mrs. Ben (Tillie) Lange.

Surviving are a son, Cloy of Postville, a daughter, Mrs. Amy Stirk of West Union, a granddaughter, Mrs. Bonnie James of Las Vegas, Nevada and two great grandchildren, April and Jeffrey James, and a sister, Edith Sawvell of West Union.
