Funeral services were held for Huldah Sophia Minnie Miller, Wednesday, September 16, 1987 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Huldah Sophia Minnie Miller, daughter of John and Maggie (Thoma) Harnack was born January 2, 1896 at Postville, Iowa. She died Saturday, September 12, 1987 in the Community Memorial Hospital at Postville, IA.

She was baptized May 31, 1896 and confirmed March 20, 1910 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville.

September 18, 1917 she married Fred Miller at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. She has lived in Postville all her life. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, July 21, 1961, 2 sisters, Elisabeth and Ida and one brother, Friedrich.

Huldah was an avid baseball fan. She especially liked the "CUBS". She also traveled extensively throughout the United States.

Casket bearers were Hugo Bodensteiner, Paul Moser, Duane Thompson, Milron Turner. M. F. Chevalier, and Grant Schultz.
