Mrs. E. Robbins' Funeral Is Held Thursday Here

The funeral of Mrs. Ella Robbins was held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Martin funeral home with the Rev. Mr. Raymond Orr officiating. Burial was made in Oakland Cemetery. The pallbearers were William Peterson, Otto Fossum, Art Marsden, John Palmer, Carl Groezinger and Howard Grimm.
Ella Cummens, daughter of Jeremiah and Amelia Cummens, was born April 19, 1877 in Waukon. She attended the Waukon public schools and Aug. 2, 1899 was married to William Robbins who passed away several years ago. One son Ted survives. Mrs. Robbins was librarian at the Waukon public schools, and served for six years as county recorder. She operated a coffee shop in Fayette, and also in Waukon.
She was a 50 year member of the order of Eastern Star. She passed away at the Veterans Memorial hospital May 25, where she was a patient only overnight, but had been in poor health for some time. She and her son Ted have lived in an apartment on Spring Ave. for several years.
