William Robbins

William "Ted" Robbins, 87, of Waukon died Friday, July 17, 1998 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Graveside seervices were held at 10a.m. Wednesday, July 22 at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon, with the Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. He was born June 29 1911 probably in New York and as an infant came to northeast Iowa on the "Orphan Train". Ted was adopted and raised by William and Ella (Arnold) Robbins. He attended Waukon High School and did a variety of odd jobs for people in the Waukon area. For almost 40 years, Ted lived at Makee Manor, rural Waukon, where he did a lot of work in the kitchen area. Several cousins survive.

This is typed just the way it was in the paper. I am questioning the name of Arnold as Ella Robbins' obit says her maiden name was Cummens.
