Services For A. J. Bugenhagen

Arno J. Bugenhagen, 76, of Waukon, died Monday, March 22 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon.

He was born in Allamakee County Jan. 26, 1906, the son of Rudolph and Mathilda Krambeer Bugenhagen. He attended Postville high school, was employed in the transportation industry, and was a member of First Presbyterian church. He and Irene Thomson were married Oct. 30, 1935 in Waukon.

She survives as does a sister, Mrs. Virgil (Gertrude) Kaiser of Monona. He was preceded in death by a brother Lloyd.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 25. Rev. Rick King conducted the services and burial was in Oakland cemetery.
