Death of Mrs. M.L. Connor

Mrs. M.L. Connor, 70, died on Monday, June 9, at the LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past few years. She was born on February 22, 1910 in New Albin to Martin and Elizabeth Brady Peyton. She was married to M.L. "Mike" Connor on August 13, 1932 at Necedah, Wisconsin. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Robert of Minneapolis and James of Waukon; and a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Carole) Mooney, of Marion, eleven grandchildren; and two brothers, Terrance Peyton of Waukon and Earl Peyton of Tomah, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12, at Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing, the Rev. Carl Manternach officiating. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home in Lansing. A wake scripture service will be held there at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Robert, Scott, Marty, and John Connor, and Tim and Sean Mooney.
