Death of Joseph Fahey

Joseph Fahey, an old and well known resident of the county, died at his home in Union Prairie Township Sunday morning, following an illness of several years’ duration from heart trouble and other complications. He was about 56 years of age. For a number of years Mr. Fahey served the county as surveyor. He was an estimable man and was held in high regard by all. His death comes as a second bereavement to his widow who was called upon but a few weeks ago to part with her mother, Mrs. John Cunningham. A family of five sons and five daughters also mourn his death. The funeral took place Tuesday from St. Patrick’s church with interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
