Lloyd Earl Palmer
Lloyd Earl Palmer was born in Austin, Minnesota on November 7, 1896 and passed away at his home in Anoka, Minnesota at 6:00 o'clock Thursday morning, June 7.
On July 15, 1920 he was united in marriage to Miss Bertha Thoma of Postville at Cheyenne, Wyoming.
He resided in Postville from 1924 to 1956 where he owned and managed the Iris Theatre. In 1956 he and Mrs. Palmer moved to Anoka to care for his sister, who later passed away.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Lloyd J. of Elmhurst, Illinois and William R. of Houston, Texas; and also ten grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Thurston Mortuary, Anoka, Minnesota at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon with interment in the Anoka cemetery. The floral offerings and other expressions of sympathy attested the place he held in this community and his present home.
