Mrs. Hattie Sess Services Friday

Mrs. Hattie Sess died Tuesday at the university hospital in Iowa City followiing an illness of about two years. Mrs. Sess was born Aug. 31, 1881 near Lansing and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bechtel. Her marriage took place 53 years ago this March and her husband died in 1930.

Survivors are two sons Herbert and Irving of Lansing, two daughters, Mrs. Dewey Sandry of Lansing and Mrs. Carl Williams of Volney, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Lottie Williams, Waukon, Mrs. Myrtle Miller, La Crosse, Mrs. Ruth Holm, Dubuque and Mrs. Ada Schellhammer of Lansing. Also three brothers, Roy and Alfred Bechtel and Henry of Waukon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sess will be held at 1:30 Friday P. M. from the Burke funeral chapel with the Rev. Mr. L. D. Eaton officiating. Burial will be made in the Mays Prairie cemetery.
