Virginia (Jenny) Kelly, age 67, of Prairie du Chien, WI passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Friday, July 30 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon, with Monsignor Ed Lechtenberg officiating. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon. Hanson Funeral Home of Waukon assisted the family with arrangements.

Virginia was born March 5, 1937 in Waukon to James and Rita Duffy. September 5, 1955, she married Tade Kelly at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon.

After completing her high school education, Virginia worked in the field of management and lived in such area locations as Waterville, Waukon, McGregor, and Prairie du Chien. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, Mike; and siblings Anna Mae Borseth and Shirley Schulte. Survivors include her children, Dan Kelly of Waterville, Tim (Mary) Kelly of Waukon, and Julie (Mark) Borseth of Clive; siblings Howard Duffy and Joann Troendle; and five grandchildren. Casketbearers were Ted Kelly, Brad Palmer, Glen Palmer, Dennis Hill, Charlie Welch, and Jerry Weiss. Honorary casketbearers were Jason Borseth, Mike Oslac, Claud Smith, Leon Schulte, Kerri Hipenbecker, Maryjean Standiford, Dick Hermanson, Dan Digre, Bartley Needham, Eddie Schanahan, Clifford Digre, Lloyd Schulte, Janice Radloff, and Jeanie Trygg.
