EDWIN C. NELSON

Edwin, 74, 210 1/2 S. Broad St., Elkhorn, died in Veterans Administration Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin, Friday evening.

Born Dec.1, 1890 in Waukon, Iowa, he came to this area 30 years ago and was engaged in the care and training of racehorses. He was a member of the Elkhorn Post of the American Legion.

Survivors are a brother, Ole G. Nelson, Waukon, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Dan Kaeser, Waukon and Mrs. Hans Hanson, Cedar Falls, Iowa; nieces and nephews, among them several in Janesville. His parents, a bother, and four sisters, including Mrs. Adolph Nelson of Janesville, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Wolfgram Funeral Home, the Rev. Sylvan Moe, First Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening.
