OLE G. NELSON FUNERAL HELD AT LAKE HAZEL

Final rites for Ole G. Nelson, 83, a former resident, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Lake Hazel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Hazel Hiedtke officiating.

Mr. Nelson died Thursday, April 14, at Veterans Memorial Hospital at Waukon, Iowa. Pallbearers were Elmer and Donald Pederson, Arthur Hulberg, Arnold Gomer, Joel Lee, and Thov Svingen. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Diane Svengen was organist and Elmer and Donald Pederson sang in the service.

Mr. Nelson was born at Allamakee County, Iowa, Jan. 22, 1883, the son of the late Gilman and Albertina Anderson Nelson. He grew up in Iowa and was united in marriage to Agnes Olson. He was a farmer and painter.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emma L. Kaeser of Waukon, Iowa and Mrs Minnie Hanson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was prceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, and six sisters.
