Anna Adelheit (Hagen) Welper 1837 - 1916

Anna Adelheit Hagen was born on November 11, 1837, at Schale, Germany. In 1870 she came to America and in 1871 was joined in marraige to H.H. (Heinrich Herman "Henry") Welper. This union was blessed with three children, two of whom and the father preceded her to the beyond. The family resided on a farm in Union City township until 1902, when they moved to New Albin. Mrs. Welper was always in good health until March 5 of this year, when she suffered a paralytic stroke. She passed away on March 22, 1916.
