Lowell L. "Boots" Britain, 78, of Lincoln, Neb., died Wednesday, Jul. 15, 1992.

Britain was born April 1, 1914 in Postville, Allamakee County, Iowa to LeRoy and Georgia (Cummins) Britain.

Survivors include his wife, Opal (Sires) Britain; son and daughter-in-law, Lowell R. and Cleo Britain of Redding, Calif.; daughters, Norvene Watts of Diamond Bar, Calif. and Karla Britain of Lincoln, Neb.; brothers, Rodney Britain of Clear Lake, Wis., Robert Britain of Waytata, Minn.; sisters Eleanore Sires of Marshalltown, Ia., Shirley Rogers of Lincoln, Neb. and Carol Renwick of Newberg, Ore.; grandchildren Teresa of Ontario, Calif. and Ted Watts of Diamond Bar, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Earl, Otis, Kenneth and Keith.

Services were held 11 a.m. Sunday at College View Seventh Day Adventis church in Lincoln, Neb. with burial in College View cemetery.

Pallbearers were Delbert Bollinger, Willard Gutknecht, Gene Russell, Gerald L. Bickert and Roland Rogers.
