Kermit Paul Meyer, 58, died at his home in Clearlake Oaks, CA, on August 26. A resident of Lake County since 1961, he retired eight years ago from the wholesale meat business in Lower Lake.
He was born on New Albin April 7, 1922. His parents were Albert G. and Louise Meyer. He went to school in New Albin and after graduation he joined the army and served during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Dr. Marie Mostin Crail of Clearlake Oaks; two sons, Kenneth Paul M. Boone of Oregon, and Raymond Albert Boone of Washington; and two sisters, Bernice Wild and Shirley Wuennecke, both of New Albin.
Memorial services were held at Jones and Lewis Chapel in Lower Lake on Sunday, August 31, at 10:00 a.m. The Elks Club, Chapter 2299 of Clearlake Highlands officiated.
Mr. Meyer was Exalted Ruler of BPOE in 1971-72 and 1972-73. He was buried behind the Central Flag, Veterans Area, Lower Lake Cemetery.
