DOROTHY LEPPERT

Lansing, Ia. -- Burial services are being arranged for Dorothy Leppert, who died at Independence this week. A daughter of the Late Mr. and Mrs. George Leppert, she was born Sept. 27, 1915. She attended the rural schools and for some time the Lansing schools.

She is survived by her sister Luella, Mrs. William Bieber of Waukon and two brothers, Reuben and Maynard of French Creek township. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, the cortage coming from Waukon.

Dorothy Leppert, Taken By Death

Funeral services are held Friday at French Creek Methodist Church

Miss Dorothy Leppert, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Leppert of French Creek township, passed away Tuesday September 5th following two years illness.

Dorothy Leppert was born September 27, 1915 in French Creek township where she attended rural school.

She is survived by two brothers Reuben and Maynard at home, and one sister, Mrs. William Bieber of near Waukon.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the French Creek Methodist church, of which she was a member. The Reverend Bernard G. Kemper officiated, and burial was in Oak Hill cemetery at Lansing.

The casket bearers were Floyd Wilde, Charles Ebner, Lewis Ebner, Edwin Gelo, Clarence Thompson and Raymond Zezulka.

Death of Dorothy Leppert

The death of Miss Dorothy Leppert, which brought great sorrow to her family, friends and neighbors in French Creek township, occurred on Tuesday last after an illness of about two years. Funeral services were held Friday in the Methodist church in French Creek to which she belonged. The Rev. Bernard C. Kemper officiated and burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery at Lansing. Carrying the remains to their final resting place were Floyd Wilde, Charles Ebner, Lewis Ebner, Edwin Gelo, Clarence Thompson and Raymond Zazulka.

Dorothy Eleanor, the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Leppert, was born on September 27, 1915, in the Leppert home in French Creek and after her education in the rural schools of her vicinity, she spent most of her active years assisting on the home place. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. William Bieber of Waukon, and two brothers, Maynard and Reuben at home.
