BAKKE, JOHNSON, DROGSETT, GRANGARD

The death of Mrs. Julius Bakke occurred on Friday at the Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. from the Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church, with the Rev. E.O. Baalson officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Bakke (Helen), was born on January 31, 1895, a daughter of the late John H. and Gena Drogsett Johnson and had always lived in this area. She was married on March 15, 1918 to Julius Bakke, who passed away three years ago.

Surviving are two sons: Joe Bakke, rural Postville and Lester Bakke on the farm near Waukon, and with whom his mother lived. There is one sister, Mrs. Alex Grangard, Waterville.

Pallbearers were James Moe, Thomas Roe, Curtis Schoenthal, Arlando Anderson, Rudolph Larson and Leonard Molitor.

Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
