Mrs. M. Quinn died at her residence in Lafayette township last Wednesday evening after a brief illness at the advanced age of seventy-six years. The old lady was pretty well worn out by the protracted sickness of her son, who is now convalescent we are glad to know, when attacked by la grippe, which speedily terminated fatally.

She was a pioneer settler hereabouts and resided in this city for about twenty years before going onto the farm which has been her home for nearly as long.

Three daughters and a son survive her, Mrs. James Healy, of Union City; Mary, Julia, now married in Nebraska, and John G.

She was buried Friday from the Catholic church in this city, interment taking place in the cemetery three miles west of town.
